Network Congestion – Distributed Denial of Service (RESOLVED)

One of our upstream Providers is currently experiencing increased Network Congestion due to a Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack. Until our upstream Provider is able to resolve this issue you may experience intermittent access to your Hosting Services at Scarab Media and Project A, depending upon your geographical location. This includes Email, Web, Database, and FTP access.

We will keep you posted once this situation is resolved.

A Hunter Communications customer is currently the recipient of a Distributed
Denial of Service (DDOS) attack, which is causing network congestion.
Customers may experience loss/latency if they are on the network path that is
being affected.
Hunter is currently working with upstream providers to mitigate this issue
beyond the network edge.
Thank you for your patience.

UPDATE: As of 9:20 AM PST (-8 GMT) this DDOS attack has been mitigated for the time being via upstream filtering and saturated links have returned to expected levels. There should no longer be any latency issues with some customers reaching their Hosting Services at Scarab Media.
