Email hosted at Scarab Media, Project A Inc. by default has all email messages that test with a Medium and High probability of being Spam quarantined in their account’s Junk E-mail folder for 7 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Users who use POP3 or IMAP do not retrieve this folder and it’s contents (unless they explicitly tell their email client to do such). As such, sometimes legitimate emails (called “False Positives”) are flagged as Spam and never seen. As of today all email accounts will now receive an email report at the end of the day that provides a list of emails that were quarantined throughout the course of the day. This will give all users, especially those who use POP3 or IMAP to retrieve their email, an easy way to be alerted to any legitimate email caught in their Junk E-Mail Folder.

A typical Quarantine Report looks as follows:

The quarantined messages are in a folder named Junk E-mail.

If any of these emails are NOT spam, then in the webmail interface right click on the message and select Actions -> Mark -> Not Spam and the message will be delivered to you Inbox and the sender automatically added to your Trusted Senders.

The above listed messages will be automatically deleted from our system in 7 days.
